Terms of Use

QuickScan — Document & QR Scanner · Effective 3 July 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the QuickScan mobile application (“the App”) developed by Sourav Mishra (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

3. Your content

You retain full ownership of any documents, images, or data you create with the App (“Your Content”). We do not access, store, or claim any rights to Your Content. Your Content stays on your device or, if you opt in, in your own iCloud storage — not on any server operated by us.

4. Advertising

The App is free to use and monetized through advertising served by Google AdMob. By using the App you acknowledge that:

5. Third-party services

The App relies on services provided by Apple Inc. (iCloud, App Store, Vision framework) and Google LLC (Google Mobile Ads SDK / AdMob). Your use of those services is subject to the respective providers' terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.

6. Availability & changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any feature) at any time, with or without notice. We may release updates via the App Store; you are responsible for keeping the App up to date to receive fixes and new features.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that OCR results are accurate, that the App will always be error-free, or that scanned data will be preserved without loss. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Sourav Mishra be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the App, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete it at any time. We may suspend or terminate your license immediately if you breach these Terms. The disclaimers and limitations in sections 7 and 8 survive termination.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
