TinyWin ("the app", "we", "us") is a habit tracker for iPhone and iPad, designed to be private and local-first. This policy explains how the app handles your information.
None. TinyWin does not collect, store, sell, share, or transmit any personal information to us or to any third party.
The habits you create, the days you mark done, and any reflection notes or moods you record are stored entirely on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We never see this content.
No login. No account. No email required. You can install and use TinyWin without providing any personal information at all.
If you are signed in to iCloud on your device and you allow it in iOS Settings, TinyWin uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your habits privately across your own Apple devices.
Apple's iCloud handling is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
TinyWin schedules reminders through Apple's local UserNotifications framework. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device — they never leave it. No push notification server is involved. You can turn reminders off anytime in iOS Settings or from within the app.
TinyWin offers a one-time in-app purchase called "Unlimited Habits" that removes the free-plan limit. This purchase is processed by Apple's StoreKit and is subject to Apple's terms.
TinyWin contains no third-party analytics, tracking, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs. There are no Google, Facebook, or ad-network trackers of any kind. The only external service the app can communicate with is Apple's iCloud, and only if you have enabled it yourself.
Because your data lives on your device, you are in complete control:
TinyWin does not knowingly collect any information from anyone — including children under 13. Because we collect nothing from anyone, no age-based data-collection rules apply. The app is rated 4+ on the App Store.
Your data is retained on your device (and, if enabled, in your iCloud) for as long as you choose to keep it. We do not retain anything on our servers, because we do not operate any servers that receive your data.
Because data never leaves your device (or your personal iCloud), TinyWin inherits the security guarantees of Apple's platforms: on-device encryption, iOS sandboxing, and end-to-end encryption for CloudKit private databases. We recommend keeping iOS up to date and using a device passcode.
If we ever change this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, if the change is material, mention it in the app's release notes. If we ever add any form of data collection or third-party service, we will disclose it prominently in advance and require your explicit opt-in.
